about the artist

Gemma founded the company back in 2014 when she unearthed her dad’s old camera and started taking photos of any friends who would let her.

She graduated from MSU in 2019, where she discovered a love for illustration and graphic design.

Nowadays, Gemma works full-time writing ads for TikTok, spends the weekends teaching workshops at a local candle store, and gets to illustrating and photographing throughout all the hours between.

Currently, she lives in Grand Rapids with her dog Oliver and feels very lucky to create beautiful things for a living.

I LOVE a good challenge and this piece definitely challenged me ✨ Spent a lot of hours shading a lot of little logs, and now I’m thinking a cabin getaway in the near future doesn’t sound half bad 🪵👀 so fun!!!
